Dr. Rob McKnight DC
Dr. McKnight has been treating patients in Southern Utah since 2001. He specializes in treating auto accident related injuries. He is a board
certified Chiropractor who has further certifications in manipulation under anesthesia, biomechanical performance enhancement, and rehabilitation. Dr. McKnight works closely with a large network of medical doctors which provides him with access to not only chiropractic care and spine rehabilitation but also trigger points injections, interventional pain management, and spine surgery. Dr. McKnight has treated professional athletes for the past nine years. He has served as the team chiropractor for the St. George Blitz semiprofessional football team and the St. George Road Runners professional baseball team. He is currently the chiropractor in southern Utah for the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association. When he is away from the clinic, Dr. McKnight loves spending time with his beautiful wife and three children. Dr. Russell is a board certified chiropractor (1990), as well as a board certified chiropractic orthopedist (1994). He obtained a masters degree in biomechanical trauma (2004). He is an Accident Reconstructionist through Northwestern Traffic Institute. He specializes in permanent impairment ratings, disability exams, independent medical exams, and record reviews for second opinions.
Dr. David Miyasaki
Dr. David Miyasaki is excited be part of the St. George community. A native of Southeastern Idaho, Dr. Miyasaki completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Brigham Young University-Idaho, with the intention of entering medical school. While studying pre-medicine, he suffered a back injury leading him to seek the aid of a local chiropractor. Within a few visits the back pain resolved and Dr. Miyasaki had decided to become a chiropractor. The decision led him to Logan College of Chiropractic, in St. Louis, Missouri, from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
In addition to obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he also is completing a Master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. The additional training involved with this degree has given him experience treating sports injuries and in injury prevention. Because of Dr. Miyasaki’s medical background, he emphasizes evidence-based practices to help not only athletes, but anyone suffering from pain and dysfunction. He also uses the latest techniques to achieve the best results. Dr. Miyasaki is certified in Graston Technique and Active Release Techniques for soft tissue treatment and has done additional coursework in diagnosis and treatment of lumbar and cervical disc injuries. Additionally, Dr. Miyasaki employs the Spidertech method of kinesio-taping to help athletes of all skill levels perform better and recover faster. Using these tools and the several adjusting techniques that he is trained in Dr. Miyasaki can help anyone achieve maximum performance on the field, in their home, or at their work place.
